Student Life
Two welcoming campuses, one dynamic international city — at Georgetown you have it all: your campus community and the diverse DC communities students engage with; arts, culture, history and spiritual life; multiple foodie scenes; and plenty of opportunities to co-create and lead student initiatives.
The Best of Two Worlds
The Hilltop Campus and the Capitol Campus — two distinct Georgetown experiences that each offer a close-knit community and a home for you to build the life you want.

Walk down leafy paths past iconic buildings and residential communities alive with activity. Find a spot under a tree and dive into a book. The Hilltop is a place to focus and to connect. With more than 250 student clubs and a full calendar of events, you’ll find your people.

Located in the heart of DC, the Capitol Campus is a dynamic hub for collaboration that a tight-knit community of undergraduate and graduate students call home. The campus’s apartment-style residence halls are designed for bonding, and at your doorstep is a city to discover.

Your DC

DC has a robust museum culture, and many of them are free. Explore the mainstays — the world-famous Smithsonian, the National Gallery of Art — and then branch out: The National Postal Museum, International Spy Museum and National Cryptologic Museum are only-in-DC experiences.

You’ll find a growing foodie scene in DC, with new spots popping up both downtown and in the Georgetown area. From upscale farm-to-table restaurants to popular food halls and neighborhood favorites serving dishes from around the world, you won’t run out of options.

You might know DC for the Kennedy Center and the Hirshhorn Museum, but you’ll also find a growing indie gallery scene and every type of music and theater in venues ranging from intimate spaces to auditoriums that book big-name bands and theatrical productions.

Cheer on the Hoyas steps away from the Capitol Campus or discover your DC pride at a Nationals game in Navy Yard. Soccer fans head to Audi Field to catch DC United home games — the first American team to win the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Check out the legendary Exorcist Steps near the Hilltop Campus. Head to the Tidal Basin for a spectacular springtime display of cherry blossoms. Tour the Congressional Cemetery and visit the graves of famous Americans. DC is full of quirky history and local secrets.
Green Your Campus
