“The 55 H residence has its own kind of campus vibe. Everyone interacts a lot. People are studying in the lobby, there are multiple common areas. And there’s an event pretty much every week.”

Community, Georgetown Style

Student clubs and organizations are a vital component of what makes the Capitol Campus such a dynamic hub. Get involved with one of the many social, professional and service-oriented clubs, each of which organizes engaging speakers and other events on campus.

The campus offers several intentional spaces for gathering. From the Sky Garden at the McCourt School of Public Policy — a landscaped patio designed by notable architect Maya Lin — to the game room and courtyard of 55 H, you’ll always have a place to be in community.

Well-lit indoor auditorium

The 125 E building’s 400-seat auditorium hosts guest lectures and panel discussions that bring the entire community together. Events such as wellness seminars and movie screenings play a pivotal role in fostering social connections.
