Title: Georgetown Wrapped: 2023 Year in Review

As Hoyas enter the home stretch of the fall semester and prepare to go home for the holidays, the campus community is looking forward to all that the spring semester and new year has in store.

But before we close out another year on the Hilltop, let’s reflect on all the memorable moments of 2023 as we celebrated new beginnings for the Class of 2027, launched new ventures to advance our Catholic, Jesuit mission, and recognized the heroes that make Georgetown a special home.

This year, we look back as we…

Hosted world leaders on our global stage

And sent Hoyas into the world while welcoming the next generation

“You’re also learning something new every day. There are challenges. This didn’t work, and you try to fix it. We’re in the fixing business. You have to always be ready to learn a new way to do it.”

“We live together and share an office [at home]. If we’re both listening to music, I just wave my hand to get her attention. She helps me out because that’s what we do as sisters. We love the Georgetown connection of that close family relationship.”

“I love working with Georgetown students because: They give me a sense of hope for the future. To see this generation really desire transformation and the betterment of all people brings me hope on a daily basis.”

We applauded our 3 Rhodes Scholars on a record-breaking year
