Georgetown Tree Lighting Ceremony
Kicking off the season, my friends and I gathered at Georgetown for the dazzling tree-lighting ceremony. The night was filled with melodic singing performances that resonated with joy and an amazing play that captivated us all. The twinkling lights and cheerful crowd set the perfect tone for a holiday filled with wonder and merriment.

Gliding into Fun at Georgetown Waterfront Ice Skating Rink
Next on the agenda was a sweet adventure at the Georgetown Waterfront Ice Skating Rink. The waterfront transformed into a winter wonderland, and I laced up my skates and bravely practiced skating backward. And guess what? I did not fall! Laughter echoed through the air as my friends and I embraced the joy of gliding on ice.

A Capitol Christmas Tour with Friends
Venturing into the heart of DC, a group of fellow Congressional interns and I explored the U.S. Capitol Dome. We marveled at the grandeur of the iconic architecture and delighted in spotting the beautifully adorned National Christmas Tree. The holiday magic was infused in every corner of the Capitol, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

As the holiday season approached its peak, my friends and I braved the chilly weather for a monumental adventure. Bundled up against the cold, we explored the iconic monuments, taking in the breathtaking views of the city draped in festive lights.
