Title: Your Feedback Requested: Survey About Your Mode of Work this Academic Year

Dear Colleagues,

As we move through the 2021-22 academic year, we continue to learn about the most effective ways to conduct our work in support of Georgetown’s academic and research missions. I invite you to participate in a brief confidential survey to help us better understand how this transitional year is going.

The survey, which is being administered by the Office of Assessment & Decision Support (OADS) in partnership with the Department of Human Resources, will remain open until April 15, 2022. Your name and other potentially-identifying information will not be attached to your individual responses in any reports produced by OADS.

Through the survey we seek to better understand how our employees in staff/AAP roles, as well as faculty who manage these roles, have experienced our “Return to Campus” framework as rolled out in the summer of 2021, specifically around designated “modes of work” (on campus, hybrid, telework) for staff/AAP employees.

This survey is important as it will help University leadership understand what is needed to support our staff/AAP employees, as well as the culture and community implications of remote and hybrid work.

Thank you for your time and consideration. It’s only with the participation of colleagues like you that this survey can help inform decisions around the future of work at Georgetown.

Sincerely,

Anthony D. Kinslow, MA, JD
Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
