It’s said that set backs increase one’s ability to progress even if they are unpleasant at the time. My class of ’68 had no graduation party due to riots, following MLK’s assassination, in Washington D.C. and our graduation ceremony on the Healy lawn was canceled almost before it began due to a huge thunderstorm coming out of Virginia.
Well, compared to our set backs, your class is going to be the best, brightest and most admired of Georgetown!
