Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,
We are following up on a message below that was sent last week regarding the Relocation of The Office of the University Registrar, Student Accounts and Cashiering (Revenue and Receivables) and the Office of Student Financial Services (Financial Aid) to a new Student Services Center on the lower level of White-Gravenor Hall.
Virtual and online services will continue to be available without interruption throughout the transition. Authorized depositors will receive a separate communication tomorrow, about how to make cash and check deposits on Thursday June 29 and Friday June 30, in advance of the close of the fiscal year.
Regrettably, unforeseen delays in the final preparations have necessitated a revision to the previously announced opening date. As a result, the Student Center will not be ready for its planned opening on Tuesday, but will instead open its doors to the public on Monday, July 10th.
Rest assured that our team has been working tirelessly to address the issues that arose during the final stages of construction. While these delays are unfortunate, our primary concern is ensuring that the Student Center is fully operational, safe and ready to provide an exceptional experience for all its users.
Sincerely,
Annamarie Bianco
