Dear Colleagues,
As our academic year draws to a close, we will gather in many different ways to celebrate the varied achievements of our students, as well as your own generous and dedicated hard work. Commencement weekend also offers us an opportunity to assemble in prayer and worship to thank God for all that these years have meant.
The Office of Campus Ministry is pleased to invite you to participate in the Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2023, which will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 9 a.m. on Healy Lawn (severe weather site: McDonough Arena). Faculty and administrators should report in academic attire to Red Square (severe weather site: East Hallway of McDonough Arena) on Sunday, May 21 no later than 8:45 a.m. Please join our graduates, their families, members of the Campus Ministry staff, the Jesuit Community and your colleagues for this beautiful liturgy.
If you plan to participate, please email mcevents@georgetown.edu by Friday, May 19. John Q. Pierce, special assistant to the Provost and Registrar Emeritus, will serve as Chief Marshal for the procession.
For those who are unable to attend in person, Mass will be livestreamed on the Georgetown University Facebook Page.
Sincerely,
Fr. Mark Bosco, S.J., Ph.D.|
Vice President for Mission & Ministry
