Title: Introducing BellRinger – Georgetown’s Bike Ride to End Cancer

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community:

I am pleased to introduce BellRinger, Georgetown’s new bike ride and community movement supporting Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Every dollar we raise will fund research, transforming our capacity to develop lifesaving cancer treatments and therapies right here at Georgetown. I want to encourage you to join in by riding 25, 50, or 100 miles, or by volunteering your time for BellRinger’s inaugural ride on October 22, 2022.

Today, we’re also sharing a video message from Georgetown President John J. DeGioia who joins me in marking the launch of this exciting event.

Join Georgetown’s Team Hoya today, and use the code RIDE2022 to waive the registration fee when signing up online here. In addition, because of the generosity of many donors to this effort, anyone joining Team Hoya will have the first $500 they raise matched, effectively reducing their fundraising commitment by $500.

Let’s gear up to end cancer together.

See you in October,
Lou
