Dear Students,
With the Spring semester officially underway, we are happy to see so many Georgetown students have already signed up and are utilizing WeWork locations around the world. Today, we write with some helpful reminders about using this membership and signing up for March access.
As part of the WeWork All Access membership for Georgetown University students, students can book common area desk space and phone booths. Credits are required to book conference rooms and private offices. Each Georgetown student will receive five (5) credits for conference room or private office bookings to use through May 19, 2021. Students will be asked to adhere to the five-credit limit, as these bookings will be monitored closely. Noncompliance with the limit could lead to the loss of your WeWork All Access membership. Students may also incur costs for replacing their lost or missing keycards. Please review the WeWork FAQs to learn more.
As outlined in the WeWork House Rules for Georgetown University Students and the Georgetown COVID-19 Addendum, students must observe COVID-19 public health best practices (including, but not limited to, wearing a mask and maintaining six feet of physical distance between other people at all times), as well as any additional requirements specific to a WeWork location. Failure to adhere to these health and safety terms will result in termination of your membership.
If you have already signed up for WeWork membership, no further action is required. If you have not yet taken advantage of this offer for the Spring 2021 semester, sign up by Thursday, February 25 to start accessing workspace beginning Monday, March 1.
Program Details
- To take advantage of this offer, students who are enrolled in classes for the Spring 2021 semester should confirm there is a WeWork location in your area and then visit we.co/georgetown to sign up using your Georgetown NetID email address. Your FirstName.LastName@georgetown.edu or personal email address will not register as eligible to enroll. For eligibility, you must be actively enrolled in at least one course for the Spring 2021 semester.
- In order to enjoy the WeWork All Access membership starting on March 1, 2021, you must sign up on or before February 25, 2021. Students who sign up on or after February 26, 2021, will receive access to WeWork locations starting on April 1, 2021.
- All newly-registered students will receive instructions on how to activate your membership, book workspace and access locations from WeWork in the days leading up to March 1, 2021.
- Your WeWork All Access membership is effective through May 19, 2021. Terms apply.
