Health Plans and COVID-19
The university has been in close contact with our medical plan insurers regarding the unfolding COVID-19 situation. All plans will cover eligible COVID-19 testing at zero cost to their members. As this is a rapidly changing situation, we suggest that you visit (and bookmark) your insurer’s coronavirus webpage for updates:

Other Resources and Updates
The stress of current events can take a deep toll on our mental health. Don’t forget that the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program remains open and available to help you by phone. Simply reach out to fsap@georgetown.edu or call (202) 687-2409 to schedule an appointment.
All benefits-eligible faculty and staff have free access to Health Advocate. In addition to providing videos and other educational resources regarding COVID-19, they can provide assistance with making doctor’s visits, unraveling medical claim confusion and answering more complex medical and insurance questions (including Medicare). They can be reached by logging in to healthadvocate.com/georgetown or calling (866) 695-8622.
Yates Field House Update
Unfortunately, due to the rapid evolution surrounding the pandemic, Yates Field House closed its doors, beginning today, until further notice. Yates is currently working on various logistics as it pertains to the suspension of memberships and membership add-ons, and the collection of personal items from rental lockers. Faculty and staff members can find guidance and answers to frequently asked questions at recreation.georgetown.edu.
We hope these resources are helpful to you. Thank you for all you are doing during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
Geoff Chatas
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
