We Messed Up Presents: “Becoming A Doctor: How Resilience Defines My Medical Journey” by Dr. Sarah Kureshi, MD
We Messed Up is a student-led initiative that hosts speakers to share stories on setbacks and failures when the stakes are more than just passing exams. We share stories ranging from perspectives on mistakes that have impacted patient care, on failure at a personal level and its effect on our training and careers, and systemic failures of the healthcare system, and what we can do to make a change.
By listening to stories from physicians who have “messed up” at various levels, we hope to inspire future and fellow physicians that failure at any level is not stagnant or defining, but rather, an opportunity to grow, develop resilience, and become an even better physician.
Join us on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 pm on Zoom for a thoughtful discussion by Dr. Sarah Kureshi, MD, on “Becoming A Doctor: How Resilience Defines My Medical Journey.”
