SSP Workshop: War Games “Acceleration”
February 24, 2024 | 9:30am – 2:30pm
ICC at Georgetown University
Join the Security Studies Program and Valens Global for a War Gaming workshop navigating polarization, extremism, and conflict. This is a great opportunity for those interested in scenario based strategic thinking and conflict management.
Explore the world of 2028 as it comes apart at the seams. Acceleration, a realistic group-oriented, strategic, role-playing game set in 2028, brings together participants as senior advisors to the California Governor’s Office, Federal Republic of Germany, United States White House, Russian Federation, and Google. Players grapple with challenges like mass migration, climate disasters, technological change, espionage, and terrorism. If you want to challenge yourself to navigate the perilous waters of high stakes politics and business, sign up for Acceleration now! Can you safely apply the brakes and avoid disaster, or will you lose control to those who want entropy and chaos. Find out the answers when you play Acceleration! The outcome is in your hands.
