Social Impact Making a Difference: Milk and Cookies Series. Designing an effective social intervention – Professor Alyssa Lovegrove discusses lessons learned from the Georgetown Pivot Program.
Professor Alyssa Lovegrove will discuss the ways ideas become a reality and how to turn passion into action to help a community.
Lauinger Library supports Georgetown University community members who believe that business development transforms communities and that quality information helps social entrepreneurs succeed.
The friendly Milk and Cookies Series will launch aspiring social entrepreneurs that say “someone should do something about that” on the first steps in making their passion projects come to life — all while eating cookies and drinking milk (gluten-free cookies and vegan milk will be available). The series will guide participants in gathering information before they move into the funding and operations stages of starting a nonprofit or business.
