Responsible Conduct of Research: Use of Human Subjects – How to Write an Effective Institutional Review Board Application
Mary Young, MD, Georgetown University will present “Use of Human Subjects” as a part of the Translational Biomedical Science (TBS) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Series.

Goal: To provide face-to-face training for predoctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career investigators in the responsible conduct of research in order to promote ethical, rigorous, and reproducible science. The following in-person series dovetails to required CITI modules and provides an opportunity for investigators to discuss all aspects of these topics with an expert in the field. This series also fulfills the requirements of multiple funding agencies.
Tracking of your RCR Education
Participation in these sessions will be tracked and you will receive a certification of attendance for individual sessions. Certification, however, will not be provided if you are late or leave early.
Workshop Location
Workshops are held via Zoom due to the COVID-19 on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 PM. See schedule to determine location. You will be notified by email the week before with the link to the Zoom session. Please make yourself comfortable with using Zoom beforehand.
