Public Interest Technology Workshop

This workshop will introduce students to the nascent field of Public Interest Technology, which seeks to harness technology to advance the public good. Participants will be joined by fellows and staff from the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation, who will offer their take on this new field and give students insight into potential Public Interest Technology career paths. In addition, the workshop will offer hands-on experience and practical knowledge, including an exploration of how to apply human-centered design practices to the policymaking process, specifically related to social safety net benefits. Any Georgetown student is welcome to join though attendance is limited.
