Mexico’s Political Crucible in Historical Perspective
This conversion will feature Alfredo Ávila, professor and researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciónes Históricos at the Universidad Nacional Autonóma de México. Ávila will explore the way changing historical visions have brought new understandings of Mexico – past and present. The conversation will be moderated by John Tutino, director of the Americas Forum, author of The Mexican Heartland (2018), and editor of New World Cities (2019).
