La Cosecha: Spring Festival from the Earth Commons
Join the Earth Commons for food and drinks, music, art, and crafts on Regents Hall, Fourth Floor Patio, 4-6 PM on Friday, April 19th to celebrate Earth Day. Join us in planting our seedlings, turn your old t-shirts into tote bags, and learn about upcoming environment and sustainability initiatives around campus.
La Cosecha, meaning “the harvest” in Spanish, symbolizes the bountiful rewards of our collective efforts in nurturing and stewarding the Earth. It’s a celebration of growth, abundance, and connection with nature.
The Earth Commons is thrilled to announce the expansion of the Hoya Harvest Garden. More than just a garden, it’s a living laboratory that generates fresh produce for Georgetown’s food pantry and provides hands-on learning experiences for students.
Mark your calendars and join us for La Cosecha: Spring Festival by The Earth Commons. Let’s celebrate the beauty of the Earth and the richness of community!
