Development Studies – an interdisciplinary approach to examining the economic, social, political, technological and cultural aspects of societal change – is an exciting area of study at Georgetown! SFS currently offers the International Development Minor (IDEV) for undergraduates. This program will be changing over the coming year. Please join us for an information session! You will meet the new professors who are leading the program: Prof Leona Ba (SFS) and Prof Shareen Joshi (SFS) along with Hermella Asfaw, a graduate student in the GHD program. You will hear more about their backgrounds, their vision and some details about the gateway course that they will co-teach this fall (INAF 252). There will also be time for questions. And, of course, there will be pizza!
