Audience Q&A with GU Dance Company
Georgetown University Dance Company, GU’s oldest dance organization on campus and pre- professional repertory dance ensemble presents Something’s Up!, a virtual event further exploring the relationship between film and dance. This event will be hosted on a customized website, and will feature videos of group works created remotely by student choreographers, faculty, and professional guest choreographers Maurice Johnson and Ashley Daigle. The festival celebrates community, collaboration, and creative expression.
Throughout the week, audience members are also welcomed to join GUDC in pre- and post-show discussions. The company will also host a free community dance class for registered participants.
Be sure to follow @gudanceco on Instagram for related content, including dancer profile stories and Instagram Live mini dance classes with company members throughout the full festival.
