Cacio e Pepe: a Cooking Demonstration
Come join us in the virtual kitchen and learn to make one of Rome’s oldest and most famous dishes: Cacio e Pepe. This typical dish has its origins in antiquity and is a symbol of Rome, with many of the city’s restaurants claiming to serve the best (or original) version.
Fulvio Orsitto, Director of Villa Le Balze, will be walking us through the steps to make this 3 ingredient specialty where the star is the simple yet utterly delicious flavor of cheese and black pepper combined. At the end of the demonstration, attendees will receive a written recipe.
This free event will be hosted on Zoom. Registration is required.
Accommodation requests related to a disability should be indicated in your registration. A good-faith effort will be made to fulfill requests.
All events in the series are in support of Villa Le Balze. Giving to the Villa Le Balze legacy will make a lasting impact on the lives of students, faculty, alumni, and many others who use the Villa as a space for transformative educational and scholarly activities.
