How to Use Zoom in Blended (Face-to-Face and Online) Classes
As we return to campus this fall, we will face a new normal. Some pre-pandemic, face-to-face classes will still be taught online. Some will offer students a mix of face-to-face and online study, while others will be face-to-face with an online component.
Dahlgren Memorial Library’s Instructional Design and Development (ITDD) division offers a workshop helping faculty understand that Zoom can still have a significant role to play in all these scenarios. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use Zoom for student engagement in four models of teaching and learning:
- Online: Synchronous and asynchronous
- Blended: Face-to-face class and online component
- Flipped: Online lecture video and face-to-face class
- Face-to-face
Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu or medstar.net email address. The Zoom link for this workshop will be provided in your registration confirmation email.Taeyeol Park
