How Racism Permeates American Institutions
This discussion features Becky Hsu, Associate Professor of Sociology and Corey Fields, Associate Professor and the Idol Family Chair in the Sociology Department. It is the third in the series, “Conversations About Racial Injustice: The Movement Towards Equity and Fairness.”
For many years, scholars have published substantial research about how race and racism are manifested in public and private institutions and organizations. These researchers have offered evidence based solutions for how to address these inequities. Dr. Corey Fields and Dr. Becky Hsu are contributing to the body of work about how organizations work and will offer their insights from a sociological perspective.
