Remembering Coach
In honoring a member of the Georgetown community who stood as a pioneer and giant in college basketball as well as a champion for social justice, we are asking family, friends, alumni, faculty and staff to submit messages of remembrance and gratitude for our beloved Coach John Thompson Jr. Messages will become part of a gallery on a tribute page.
How to submit
Your message should begin with an “I remember” or “Thank you, Coach.” Please briefly introduce yourself, then share your memories or feelings about the legendary coach. We will gather together these reflections and share them with the Thompson family and the Georgetown community.
We appreciate you taking the time to remember Coach Thompson.
