Dear Georgetown Community Members,
With rising outdoor temperatures after the recent winter storm, there is an increased risk of thawing snow and ice falling from sloped roofs onto sidewalks and roadways. Please take extra caution by keeping your distance from snow or ice visible on roofs. Avoid walking or parking directly beneath building overhangs/gutters.
If you see falling snow or ice on campus, please report it immediately so facilities teams can sweep or block the area. For your safety, do not cross any safety tape or barriers put in place.
