Title: Update on Fall 2021 Move-In

Dear Students,

We look forward to welcoming our new and returning students to the Hilltop in August. We know that students and families are eager to make arrangements for Fall 2021 move-in. We are working with the University’s public health team to plan a move-in process that enables students to move in as safely and efficiently as possible, in line with the University’s public health protocols.

We will follow up with more information about Fall move-in, including specific dates, no later than June 21, 2021.

As a reminder, we will require undergraduate, graduate and professional students to be fully immunized against COVID-19 prior to the Fall 2021 semester, unless granted a medical or religious exemption from this requirement. To meet this requirement, you will need to submit documentation showing you have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO). If you have not been vaccinated yet, we strongly encourage you to get vaccinated as soon as possible at a vaccination site near youWe will help students who have not been vaccinated or who have received a vaccine that has not been authorized by the FDA or WHO to get an authorized vaccine on campus upon arrival.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to prepare for the upcoming academic year. The beginning of the Fall semester promises to be an exciting time to reunite with friends and mentors, form new bonds and create new shared experiences on campus.

Sincerely,

Todd A. Olson, Ph.D.
