Lavender Graduation Celebration
Thursday, April 23, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Lohrfink Auditorium
Lavender Graduation Celebration is an event celebrating LGBTQ and ally undergraduate and graduate students and acknowledging their achievements, contributions and unique experiences at Georgetown University. The celebration will be followed by a gala, hosted by the LGBTQ Resource Center. Graduating students can use this registration form to sign up. Guests can use this registration form. DisCo Grad: Disability Community Celebration

This celebration of Georgetown University’s disability community is hosted by the Disability Cultural Center (DCC) and a student committee. Multicultural Celebration for Graduate Students

The Multicultural Celebration is a celebration for all master’s and doctoral students in all schools at Georgetown to celebrate their multicultural heritage, diversity and achievements. The celebration will be held in Gaston Hall, followed by a reception at 5 p.m. in Dahlgren Courtyard. The Multicultural Graduation Committee has created a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the ceremony, cord pickup and logistics for the day of the event.
Military-Connected Graduation Gala

This ceremony and reception, hosted by the Military and Veterans Resource Center, celebrates our graduating military-connected Hoyas (ROTC, Veterans, dependents and active servicemembers). Multicultural Graduation Celebrations for Undergraduate Students

This celebration is a treasured way to bring students, along with their families, friends and allies, together for a final celebration before graduation. The celebrations recognize the achievements of the graduates — and celebrate the cultures, histories and legacies that have shaped their journeys at Georgetown. There are three celebrations: Asian Heritage, Harambee and Despedida.
Registration is required on the student sign-up form no later than March 31, 2026, to ensure each attendee can receive a stole. Questions and accessibility requests can be directed to cmea@georgetown.edu.
Social Justice Send-Off

This annual event celebrates students who have engaged in social justice work and public/community service work during their time at Georgetown.
