Dear Georgetown University Community,
As we shared in a September 10 message, flu season has started early this year. One of the best steps you can take to protect yourself and others is to get your flu vaccine as soon as possible.
There are still open slots at several upcoming free flu vaccination clinics across our campuses:
- The School of Nursing & Health Studies (NHS) and the Student Health Center are hosting a free flu vaccination clinic next Thursday, October 14, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m in the Faculty Club in the Leavey Center (across from the patio leading to the Hariri Building). Register using this simple form.
- Labcorp is offering additional free flu vaccination clinics on the Main and Medical Center campuses, the Law Center, School of Continuing Studies, 2115 Wisconsin Avenue NW and 11333 Woodglen Dr. (Rockville). You can schedule your free flu vaccination via LabCorp by registering and entering the Visitor Access Code: GeorgetownFlu (if you need further guidance, see LabCorp’s additional instructions).
Please bring your GOCard (mobile or physical) and wear a mask while at the vaccination clinic.
The clinics will not be able to offer the high dose flu vaccine designed for individuals 65 and older. If you have any questions about receiving a flu vaccination, please refer to your primary care physician.
