Title: Announcing Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Tuition Rates

Dear Undergraduate Students,

Each year, we provide an update on tuition, room and board rates for the upcoming academic year (in this case, Academic Year 2026-2027) in order to help students and families plan ahead.

For the next academic year, the undergraduate tuition rate will be $74,520, an increase of 4.75% from the current year. When room and board costs are also considered, the total cost of attendance will increase by approximately 4.6% over the prior year’s rates for first-year and returning students.

For the academic year 2025-2026, the university anticipates dedicating a record $278 million to financial aid for undergraduate and graduate students. We will continue to increase our institutional support for financial aid.

The tuition rate reflects a balanced approach to managing rising costs, as well as providing the resources needed for academic and student priorities, efforts that expand the value and reach of a Georgetown education, and our commitment to minimizing additional fees.

We are deeply committed to ensuring that all eligible undergraduate students and their families can afford the cost of a Georgetown education. The university will continue to consider adjustments to financial aid packages when alerted to new family circumstances and to recruit students regardless of their ability to pay.
