Marineau Broadcast Studio

Georgetown University’s world class community of scholars provides insight, analysis and expertise on a wide variety of news and events. The Marineau Media Center, housed in the Kencel Press Room, is a high-quality, on-site broadcast studio that allows Georgetown University to conveniently connect with media.

The Marineau Media Center is located in the Kencel Press Room on the first floor of the Rafik B. Hariri Building on Georgetown’s main campus.

Fully Remote Video for Television

Our facilities are equipped with the VideoLink ReadyCam™ system and include digital backdrops with Georgetown University scenery and branding, a professional broadcast camera and lighting, as well as 24/7 professional support for live and recorded high-definition (HD) video.

High-Quality Audio for Radio

Our facilities are equipped with Comrex BRIC-Link II I.P.-to-audio equipment to facilitate high-quality live radio connections.

Designed For News Media

The Marineau Media Center is maintained by the Office of Strategic Communication to enable Georgetown University faculty appearances on broadcast media worldwide without having to leave campus.

The Marineau Media Center is specifically configured and cannot host larger videos, podcasts or other localized recording. Members of the Georgetown University community seeking production facilities for other purposes may find resources at the Lauinger Library Production Studio or the Center for New Designs in Learning & Scholarship (CNDLS).
