Reading Journals

Reading journals, sometimes called response journals, are widely represented throughout Syllabus Builder, in both the course syllabi and the Instructor's Guide entries. The category of "Reading journals" includes any use of (generally) non-graded, process writing. Discussion of reading journals throughout Syllabus Builder runs the gamut from a wide open forum for students to record their reactions and responses to assigned course reading, to focused responses to particular questions posed by the instructor.
