Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The Georgetown community is invited to come together to celebrate the life of Yingying Mei (SFS’22). Ying passed away in December of 2021, just before the semester break. We will gather together on Monday, March 21 at 6 p.m. in Copley Formal Lounge to celebrate her journey with us and mourn her passing. A reception will follow the service under the tent on the White-Gravenor Esplanade.
As we mourn the loss of this member of our community, we can all play a role in reaching out to one another for consolation and support in the spirit of compassion and prayer. We would like to remind you of the resources available to support your mental, emotional and spiritual well-being on the Every Hoya Cares and Campus Ministry websites.
As students, faculty and staff, we are committed to living out the Spirit of Georgetown values of caring for each member of our community, and the value of caring for the community as a whole. We invite you, in this moment, to hold Ying, her family and her loved ones in your hearts.
Gratefully,
Fr. Mark Bosco, S.J., Ph.D.
Vice President for Mission & Ministry
