Congratulations Alyssa,
Four years ago we moved you into the dorms and as excited as you were and I was for you, I was also nervous that my little girl was on her own, all across the country. This was your dream and I’m glad I could support you. I wish your father could be here to celebrate with us, I know he is very proud of you and looking down from heaven with a proud dad smile. He was your biggest cheerleader and knew you were destined for great things. I wish he could see how much you have accomplished, you’re a Georgetown graduate and a Fulbright scholar. I know you are stronger and wiser because of what you have gone through and I know you will use your education to help others that are experiencing hardship. You have such a love for people and a big heart for those that are oppressed and don’t have a voice. Keep dreaming, keep doing and follow your passion. God bless you my beautiful girl.
