CONGRATULATIONS on finishing the past weeks, months, years at Georgetown! Going to Georgetown often connotes a “place”: Healy Hall, Saxby’s on O St, a host home while abroad, a set of Zoom conference rooms. But finishing your education at Georgetown does not signify the places you’ve been so much as it does the challenges that you’ve overcome, the learning that you’ve shared, and the relationships that you’ve built. These things will certainly last after your graduation and after this pandemic; and these things are the reason I celebrate and wish you CONGRATULATIONS!
