Dear Class of 2020, I can’t imagine the disappointment you’re feeling over the circumstances of your graduation from Georgetown. I hope you can find ways to celebrate nonetheless.
As a 1979 grad of the School of Languages and Linguistics, I want to say how thrilled I am that you’ll be joining the alumni ranks. Even though I don’t know you, I know the level of commitment it took to reach this point. You should be very proud of yourself for completing this life milestone. I’m certainly proud of your accomplishment! The world is open to you now to explore, to contribute, to thrive. Stay in touch with your classmates. Embrace opportunities to meet other alumni.
We are here to help you! Celebrate your success! Happy Graduation! Hoya Saxa!
