GU Politics Welcomes 2017 Spring Fellows

January 13, 2017 –  A former White House senior advisor, political media professionals and presidential campaign leaders make up the 2017 Spring Fellows at the Institute of Politics and Public Service at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.

The GU Politics Fellows will immerse themselves in life on campus, host weekly discussion groups on pressing political topics and meet with students during office hours to talk about their careers or the political news of the day.

This semester’s fellows are:

  • Marlon Marshall, former director of state campaigns and political engagement, Hillary for America
  • Grover Norquist, president, Americans for Tax Reform
  • Anna Palmer, senior Washington correspondent and co-author of Playbook, Politico
  • Jen Psaki, director of communications and senior advisor to President Obama, White House
  • Tony Sayegh, executive vice president, Jamestown Associates – Trump/Pence 2016 Media Consultants – and Fox News Contributor

“From the trenches of the 2016 election to K Street policy experts, from strategy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to covering the halls of Congress, our Spring 2017 Fellows class has something for everyone,” says Mo Elleithee, executive director of GU Politics. “We are psyched to connect them with Hoyas later this month.”
