The Solidarity Economy in D.C.: Gina Schaefer and Recovery Hardware
Join Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, the Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor, and the Women’s Center for a Stanton Distinguished Leaders Series event featuring Gina Schaefer, CEO and co-founder of A Few Cool Hardware Stores. Moderated by Dawn M. Carpenter (SCS’20), founding director of the Solidarity Economy Workshop at the Kalmanovitz Initiative, Schaefer will discuss how to create a culture of second chances in local business through community involvement, how to use your voice as a force for good, and how women can help drive impact through entrepreneurship across any field.
The first 30 registrants will receive a free signed copy of Gina’s new book: Recovery Hardware!
