The Future of Global Public Health: A Conversation with Natasha Bilimoria

A long-time advocate and leader for global health and development, Natasha Bilimoria was appointed to serve in a senior leadership role at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Biden administration. Bilimoria will discuss USAID’s role in the global COVID-19 response. She will also share lessons from her experiences leading efforts to mobilize U.S. support to fund childhood immunization in developing countries and to advance programs addressing HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria in low-resource settings.

This event is hosted through Georgetown University’s Conversations in Global Health class, which invites global health professionals to Georgetown’s campus to engage in discussions regarding their career paths and expertise. John Monahan guides the structured conversation, and the discussion is open to all Georgetown University faculty, students, and staff.

The Zoom Webinar link and instructions will be sent out to Georgetown faculty, students, and staff who have filled out the RSVP form an hour before the conversation begins. This event will be recorded and a captioned video will be posted after the event date.
