PubMed Basics

Attend the PubMed Basics workshop and we’ll help you get comfortable with the “new” PubMed interface design and functionality.

First, we’ll orient you to the new PubMed design. Then, we will show you how to optimize and refine your searches, and get beyond searches that are “good enough” to searches that are actually good. If you need MEDLINE articles for your latest research project, review article, or assignment, this workshop will teach you to use PubMed more easily and effectively.

PubMed Basics is the first workshop in DML’s three-part PubMed workshop series that includes:

• PubMed Basics (this event)
• Beyond Basic PubMed
• My NCBI and SciENcv

All Georgetown students, faculty, and staff are welcome. Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu or medstar.net email address. This workshop is being offered online only.

The Zoom link will be sent prior to the event after registration has been approved.
