Photoshop for Teaching and Learning
Photoshop is a powerful image editing tool that provides helpful functions to produce compelling images for educational materials. This DML ITDD workshop will guide you through Photoshop’s essential features that you need to know to process your digital images to improve their look. This workshop will give you a basic understanding of how to use Photoshop to prepare the images for use in your teaching and learning materials. In this workshop, you will learn how to:
- Change the image size
- Adjust the image quality
- Make selections in images
- Work with layers
- Use colors
- Add text and shapes
No previous experience with Photoshop is necessary, and you are not expected to use the program during this session. Although the instructor will demonstrate the software, there will be no exercises done as a class. This workshop is only available to members of Georgetown University and its affiliates with a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address. The workshop will be facilitated via Zoom. The Zoom link for this workshop will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
