Meeting the Needs of All Students: Recommendations for General Education Teacher Preparation Programs to Support Students with Disabilities
How can we better support all students? As classrooms across America continue to include students with disabilities, there is a need for more specialized attention to find ways to support all students with different learning needs. The task is no small feat. Both general education teachers and special education teachers are responsible for understanding the unique needs of students with disabilities. Join Vasilisa Smith, a second-year student in Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, as she outlines the problem and potential solutions to meet the needs of all students. More information about her research can be found here.
