Marya Hannun: “Constructing the ‘Impossible State’: Islam, Rights, and Reform in Afghanistan’s First Constitution”
The Graduate Colloquium provides graduate students with an opportunity to present their work before both peers and faculty in order to receive valuable feedback, often as a precursor to presenting at an academic conference. These events are also a nice chance to check in with fellow graduate students and get a glimpse of the various research projects we are all engaged in across the field of Arabic and Islamic Studies.
