KOPIKON: A Conlang Conference

KOPIKON is a world-first event bringing together all of Hollywood’s most successful constructed language creators (conlangers) and linguists in a star-studded line-up. If you’ve watched Game of Thrones, Avatar, Star Trek or The Witcher, you’ve heard the languages that these linguists have created: Dothraki, Valryian, Na’vi and Klingon. If you’re a fan of these shows, love sci-fi, and are curious about the work that goes into creating these linguistic worlds, this is the conference for you.

Kopikon will also feature a short musical interlude by two world-renowned musicians, Jillian and Andrew Aversa, who create music for blockbuster videogame franchises such as Halo, Assassin’s Creed, God of War, and more. Songs selected for performance will be sung in languages constructed by the linguists present.
