Inclusive Adaptation: A Benefit Multiplier for Climate Action and WPS
Please join us for the launch of GIWPS’ latest climate report, “Inclusive Adaptation: A Benefit Multiplier for Climate Action and Women, Peace and Security.” GIWPS experts will highlight key findings from the report and demonstrate how meaningful inclusion of women in local-level climate adaptation efforts can multiply benefits by strengthening climate response, gender equality, and security. In particular, the conversation will focus on local level adaptation in the agriculture and energy sectors. Panelists will include grassroots women climate leaders to highlight how inclusive approaches to local-level climate adaptation can accelerate progress toward gender equality and create a more secure environment for all.
