Holocaust Memorial Speaker: Prosecuting War Crimes From Nuremberg to Ukraine
In recognition of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day), the Jewish Business Alliance and the Jewish Law Student Association at Georgetown are hosting a fireside chat with Eli Rosenbaum, the Counselor for War Crimes Accountability at the Department of Justice, best known for his work identifying, denaturalizing, and deporting Nazi war criminals in the aftermath of the Holocaust. He currently works on investigations in Ukraine related to Russian war crimes and has experience handling and supervising diverse civil, criminal, and international law enforcement and policy matters, particularly in the area of individual and corporate human rights accountability, including supply chain integrity, hate speech, and restitution matters. Mr. Rosenbaum also received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to receive his JD from Harvard. He will be joined by Georgetown Law Professor, Jared Silberman, who teaches classes on the Nuremberg Trials at Georgetown Law.
