Health Equity Forum – Navigating Without A Map: A First Generation Journey To and Through Medicine
Being a first generation college student is not easy. Many first generation medical students walk headfirst into only to look back later and recognize in hindsight that they may have taken the long route. Despite the unique circumstances that these students face, many are succeeding and increasing diversity within the physician workforce. The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Gen 1 invite you to our upcoming health equity forum to hear the stories of Georgetown’s first generation leaders and discuss how they found success in medicine.
