Euskararen Nazioarteko Eguna 2022/Basque Language International Day 2022: “Examining Basque Varieties and Conflicts of Authenticity Among Basque Speakers”

Every December 3 we celebrate the Euskararen Nazioarteko Eguna/Basque Language International Day. This year, sponsored by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and Faculty of Languages and Linguistics at Georgetown University, we are also going to celebrate Basque language day with the following panel: “Examining Basque Varieties and Conflicts of Authenticity Among Basque Speakers”. The guest speakers for this panel are Dr. Itxaso Rodríguez-Ordóñez (California State University) and Dr. Ander Beristain (Mississippi State University). The panel will be on November 29 from 2pm to 3:30pm at ICC 462.
