Eriko Okamoto: “Prophecy in Arabic and Islamic Philosophy: al-Fārābī’s Psychological Explanation”
The Graduate Colloquium provides graduate students with an opportunity to present their work before both peers and faculty in order to receive valuable feedback, often as a precursor to presenting at an academic conference. These events are also a nice chance to check in with fellow graduate students and get a glimpse of the various research projects we are all engaged in across the field of Arabic and Islamic Studies.
