Andrew P. Loehrer, MD, MPH is the Assistant Professor of Surgery, Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth. Dr. Loehrer graduated from the Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine in 2009, and graduated with his Master of Public Health at Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in 2016.
Dr. Loehrer is a surgical oncologist who treats patients with gastrointestinal tumors, breast cancer, and melanoma. Loehrer is also a health services researcher with a focus on vulnerable populations, including evaluation of state and federal health policy, racial and socioeconomic disparities in health and health care, and care delivery for diverse populations.
