Join the Center for Security Studies for a discussion with Puneet Talwar, former Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs. Moderated by Dr. Daniel Byman, this discussion will cover everything from Talwar’s own career journey to his policy recommendations on Iran. Drawing on his experience working on Iran policy in the Obama administration, he will describe the nature of the Iranian threat, the sources of tension in the US-Iran relationship, and four potential scenarios that highlight the costs and benefits of various courses of action.
